Credits are shown in your dashboard. They don't expire. Pay-per-use is ideal for occasional use or one-off projects.
You can cancel anytime from the pricing page inside your account. Go to app.nilamlabs.ai/pricing, find your current plan, and click "Cancel subscription."
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
Pay-per-use credits are non-refundable once purchased.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and more. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles all payment processing.
Supported File Types
The Report Generator accepts:
CSV (.csv) — comma-separated values
Excel (.xlsx) — Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
Files must have at least one numeric or categorical column. Maximum file size is 10MB. Row limits depend on your plan: 1,000 rows (free), 50,000 rows (Pro), 500,000 rows (Business).
The Quiz Builder accepts:
PDF (.pdf) — any text-based PDF document
Word (.docx) — Microsoft Word documents
PowerPoint (.pptx) — slide decks with text content
Plain text (.txt) — any text file
Maximum file size is 20MB. The document must contain at least 100 words of readable text. Scanned PDFs without embedded text are not currently supported.
How the AI Works
The Report Generator uses a two-step AI pipeline:
Step 1 — Analysis: your file is parsed and sent to the AI, which identifies trends, anomalies, and key findings. It also scores the health of your data.
Step 2 — Report: you select the audience tone (Executive, Board, Client, or Internal) and the AI writes a full narrative report with an executive summary, ranked insights, and auto-selected charts.
The AI is powered by Anthropic's Claude — one of the most capable and accurate large language models available. It never invents data — all insights are grounded in your actual file.
Upload any document and the AI:
Extracts and reads all text content from your file
Generates questions based on the actual content — multiple choice, true/false, and short answer
Tags each question with a difficulty level: Foundational, Applied, or Advanced
Writes clear answer keys with explanations for every question
You can review, remove questions, and choose how many questions to generate (5–30). Once published, learners access the quiz via a shareable link — no account required.
Our AI is built on Anthropic Claude, trained to be accurate, honest, and precise. For report generation, all insights are derived directly from your data — the AI does not fabricate numbers or trends.
For quiz generation, all questions are based on the document you upload. We recommend reviewing generated questions before publishing — the AI occasionally misinterprets ambiguous content.
AI-generated content should always be reviewed before being shared or acted upon for business or educational decisions.
Data Privacy & Security
Your uploaded files are processed to generate your report or quiz. The content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis — Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.
Files and generated outputs are stored in your account so you can access them from your dashboard. We do not use your uploaded content to train AI models.
If you delete your account, all associated files and data are permanently deleted within 30 days.
Yes. We take data security seriously:
All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS
All data is encrypted at rest in our database
Row-level security ensures you can only access your own data
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe — we never touch your card details
We do not sell your data to third parties
Our infrastructure runs on Supabase and Vercel — both enterprise-grade platforms with SOC 2 compliance.
No. Nilam Labs does not use your uploaded content or generated outputs to train AI models. Your data is yours.
The AI processing is handled by Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic's data handling policies apply to the API layer — please refer to Anthropic's privacy policy for details on how they handle API data.
Cancellation Policy
Yes — you can cancel your subscription at any time from your account. There are no cancellation fees and no minimum commitment period.
When you cancel, your access continues until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account moves to the free Starter tier automatically.
Subscription payments are non-refundable for the current billing period. If you cancel, you keep access until the period ends.
Pay-per-use credits are non-refundable once purchased.

Your reports and quizzes remain accessible in your account on the free Starter tier after cancellation. You won't lose your history.
